EcoDistricts Welcomes New Staff Members

Just as the EcoDistricts community across the globe continues to grow, our group of dedicated staff is expanding to include more expertise and experience to drive the district-scale urban regeneration movement. In the past few months, we’ve had three new staff members bring their passion for sustainable neighborhood development to our team.

19e0e1eTiffany Meyer, an experienced marketing and design professional, joined us as our Director of Marketing and Engagement. Her most recent position gave her the opportunity to work with some of the most admired brands in the world, while helping substantiate corporate commitments to water conservation, renewable energy and climate change mitigation.

 
 

Marissa HeadshotMarissa Mastors, previously with Tivnu: Building Justice, is our first Development and Information Systems Coordinator. Marissa has unique experience cultivating a deep love for sustainable design and community development through previous work in New York City, on farms in working on agricultural projects, and in Israel and Portland studying Permaculture and Sustainability Education.

 
 
 

image-1Jazmin Roberson, a recent graduate of San Diego State University, also joined us as our Operations Coordinator. During her time at SDSU, Jazmin interned with San Diego Poetry Annual and Poetry International, experiences that sparked a passion for work that makes a difference.

 
 
 
 

ZachariasZacharias Baden is a visiting Masters student currently working with EcoDistricts as a Research Fellow. He is currently finishing his Masters in Sustainable Cities in Copenhagen, Denmark. His work specializes in the field of neighborhood-scale sustainability, and he has worked with both private, public and civic stakeholders through his studies. He has been working with our Programs team on Target Cities and Protocol research.
