Building Design + Construction Spotlights EcoDistricts in New Article

The EcoDistricts movement is gaining momentum, and people are taking notice. EcoDistricts was recently featured in an article by Building Design + Construction, “Building from the neighborhood up.”

The article sites innovative districts like Austin’s Seaholm Ecodistrict, Seattle’s Capitol Hill Ecodistrict and the Lloyd Ecodistrict in Portland, Oregon. It also highlights the neighborhood projects leading the way with EcoDistricts Certified, our new project verification system.

“EcoDistricts’ goal is to give cities a way to go beyond thinking about just individual buildings and consider a holistic path to develop sustainable neighborhoods that involves active input from all stakeholders,” the article states.
