EcoDistricts Capacity Building Grant

With support from the Surdna Foundation, EcoDistricts is granting awards of $10,000 each to five neighborhoods to advance Ecodistrict activities. Qualified neighborhoods are community-based initiatives, guided by the EcoDistricts standard, that would benefit from foundation resources to take their EcoDistrict to the next level. The funds may support a range of EcoDistrict activities such as formation of a neighborhood governance structure, a sustainability plan, workshops, participation in training and peer learning programs, certification, etc.

To apply, neighborhoods must complete a simple application that includes basic district info and a brief description of how they will use the funds to advance their Ecodistrict.

Applications due September 15, 2017.
