The Zero Net Energy Communications Toolkit is a set of online resources developed by the New Buildings Institute and Resource Media to address zero net energy (ZNE) building communications goals. The toolkit answers commonly asked questions about ZNE and provides messaging for consistent communications around this ultra-efficiency goal.

The resources can be used to help accelerate market adoption by providing consistent media messaging, educating key audiences about the fundamentals of ZNE and providing evidence that ZNE is achievable and makes sense today for businesses, schools and public buildings.

While the resources were developed specifically to advance goals related to California’s Path to Zero Campaign, they are useful for any project or team working to communicate their zero net energy goals.

Visit the Zero Net Energy Communications Toolkit webpage to access the materials.
