Donna Hope

Donna U. Hope is a New York native, the daughter of Black American and West Indian trailblazers in health care, labor unions, and entrepreneurship. Donna has a B.S. degree from Spelman College, and a B.S. and M.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in civil engineering and environmental engineering, respectively. She is an EcoDistricts AP, LEED Green Associate, and Senior Fellow of the Environmental Leadership Program (ELP). After over a decade of working in private engineering firms and public policy in the NYC Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, Donna founded U-Hope Consulting, specializing in diversity, equity and inclusion in environmental sectors.  In 2018 she was awarded “Top Woman in Conservation and Environmental Justice” by EcoDiversity Magazine.
